The Mitten: A Ukrainian Folk Tale by Jan Brett tells the story
 of a boy named Nicki whose grandmother knits him a
beautiful pair of snow-white mittens. He soon loses one in the
 snow and some animals move right in.
We adapted this classic story by writing about one animal
that snuggled up in each of our "second grade" mittens. 
We hope you enjoy our descriptions and that you can guess...
