GRADE 5:  Students in 5th grade work in a self-contained classroom setting with one primary teacher.  Art, music, physical education and foreign language are integral parts of the fifth grade program and are offered as daily “specials” which students attend with their class. All students in grades 6-8 have a nine period schedule.  Listed below are the courses which are included in the curriculum at each grade level.  After the eighth grade listing are the courses that are offered to all students across grades 6-8.

GRADE 6:  Language Arts, Reading, Social Studies, Math, Science, Foreign Language, Technology , Physical Education, Art Enrichment.

GRADE 7:  Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, Foreign Language, Physical Education/Health, Art and Home & Careers are half year courses.

GRADE 8:  Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, Foreign Language, Physical Education/Health.  Art, Home & Careers, Technology and Music Appreciation are quarter year courses.
